22,820,000 imperforate stamps and 97,050,000 perforated stamps were produced. Nearly all were released: 22,784,000 imperforate and95,980,000. The first day of issue was August 1, 1919.
Printing Matrices
Eight plates were used to print the 5h, beginning on July 23, 1919. The matrix was modified for the first time on July 30, 1919 and for a second time on August 1, 1919. There were many subsequent printing.
