1928 Postage Due 60 Haléřú
This stamp was part of the first release in the 1928 Postage Due series. It went into circulation on February 1, 1928 and some 84,400,000 stamps were printed. Like the others in this series, it was withdrawn on December 15, 1939.
Because of the great number of plates used for this stamp, it is rich in plate flaws and retouches. Two examples appear below. Note the flaw in the number 6 in the first example and in the right tulip in the second.
