to Knihtisk, a website specializing in the study of all aspects of the First Czechoslovak Republic's typographic (letterpress) stamps.Here you will find images, books, articles and other resources designed to stimulate interest in and knowledge about the letterpress or typographic stamps of the First Czechoslovak Republic. Eventually, the typographic issues will each enjoy a major division within the web site, but as of now only the Hradčany, Legionářské, the T. G. Masaryk 1920 issue, and the 1928 Postage Dues are dealt with in any substantive way. A smaller amount of information is available for the Chainbreaker (Osvobzená republika), Agriculture and Science (Hospodářství a věda), Mucha's Postage Dues, and the 1919 Express Stamps(Spešňé známky).
The darkened links on the left indicate pages that are not yet available. Over time, the darkened navigation links will become light colored and opened as material is added supporting the study of the other Czechoslovak typographic issues: The Dove (Holubice), the two Newspaper Issues (Novinová vydání), and The Commercial Mail Issue (Emise pro obchodni tiskopisy).
Note that overprints and surcharges, such as the Red Cross Issue, postage due and air mail issues, the SO 1920 release, specimens, trial prints, and printers' waste are or will be described with the basic issue.
